Default A Great Day with my Girl

I was able to get to a favorite clays course today with my daughter, Autumn. She is home (early) from her freshmen year at Western Michigan University and was able to put aside the online school to go shooting with her dear old dad today. Great weather at 60 degrees and we had the course to ourselves. 28 gauge Parker did well too.

Rick.. Thanks for the time you spent with your daughter! As you and I know not all lessons of life are learned in the traditional class room setting. 😊

Rick, I'm in the same boat. Got my oldest daughter home early from her freshman year at Auburn University. I hate it for her but we've had fun taking advantage of the time together and doing some fly fishing.

Good for you both and it's fantastic to see young folks getting into the sport. My daughter is home from school semi-permanently too. She was supposed to spend May in Germany studying but that has been cancelled so we have her back home until next fall it looks like. Now it's all on-line schooling.

SO great to see a young shooter exhibiting such good gun-handling form: head straight, face on the stock, ready for the target. So often we see young people leaning backwards, head rolled over on the comb like a rifle shooter, looking like they anticipate the recoil of an elephant gun. Well done!

Mr. Davis, I wish I could get my daughter back to Auburn. Her Auburn University "Engineer of the Year" CHE is waiting for her.
