Some interesting information on the weights:
I seemed to have lost my most recent recordings of guns so here is what I had in the more distant past or still have in the safe. 10ga 0 lifter #2 frame 1877 28" twist bbls 4^10 10ga 2 lifter #3 frame 34" 1879 laminated bbls 6^7 10 ga D top lever #3 frame 30" 1886 damascus bbls 6^0 10ga DH #3 frame 32" 1891 damascus bbls 6^1 10ga CH #2 frame 30" 1892 Bernard bbls 4^11 I had a 5 frame lifter and I am thinking it was around 7 something Kurt

The variety is interesting! My 1886 Toplever 10 has 30" Laminated barrels marked '5'. It makes for a svelte 10 bore compared to some. Cheers!
