I have a 1915 safetyless DHE with the reinforced forend loop for the BTFE, but it wears a splinter forend. Did the reinforced forend loop come before the BTFE?

I think the reinforced loop was developed for the BTF. Could your gun have been refitted with the splinter? Is it in the serialization book?

Correct me if I'm wrong - wasn't John Dunkle's great-grandfather's AAHE Double Trap the first Parker to be made with a BTFE?
It currently has both its original BTFE and its original splinter forend. .
