I wing tipped one with a 28ga a couple of years ago. Not hit hard just enough that it wouldn't stay airborne. It gave the dog a helluva a run but she finally caught it. When I cooked it up it was terrible, to much adrenalin I suppose

True Story. When I was in Korea, compliments of my rich Uncle, there was a dog butcher about a block from my compound. When they were going to kill a dog, they would throw a can of gasoline on it, and light it off. They claimed that the adrenaline made the meat more tender, or taste better - couldn't get a good translation.
