There's a lot to be said of a Parker that looks bigger than the NID beside it but weighs more than a pound less, even with the longer barrels. I'll bet it swings a lot nicer than the NID too...
Jeff, please compare the felt recoil between the two. .

I commented before that the proof reader must have been asleep to make about a comment on "The little .410 Ithaca is a winner" when the ad was for the Super 10. Out of place I think.

In the September 1929 issue of The American Rifleman they formatted that ad a bit differently --
Super-Ten Ad, American Rifleman September 1929.jpg but they still mention the "little .410." In those days it really was, with 3/10 ounce of shot in the 2-inch shell and 3/8 ounce in the 2 1/2 inch shell. |

I picked up a super 10 from I guy that shot 3 1/2 in. shells out of it and said" it keeps opening up every time I shoot it", I picked it up cheep and shot 2 7/8ths shell fine with it. Shoot it the way it is and you won't want for more gun, trust me
