Default 1890 DHBP DOG

Thought I would share a close up of the dog on my recently acquired 10 Gauge made in 1890. Picked the gun up today and started cleaning up The Beast. The butt plate although worn has a lot of character. Guess I never realized how nice the dog is.

Thanks for sharing. There seem to be quite a few dogs and poses.

It would be cool to have a thread of everyone sharing their buttplates.

Default 1890 serial

Hi,

Curious if your serial number is 62xx range. I hade a 1 frame BH made in 1890 in the 62xxx range and it was ordered by C.E.P. What a gun sorry I'm sorry I let her go. As I'm sure we all have the sxs we should have not sold.

It's on a 5 frame grade 2 S/N 60065. I know all about selling guns I regret. I'm still debating on this one. Took it turkey hunting shot it twice and due to a bad shoulder put it away. It just hurt my shoulder too much.
