Default Winchester Parker Reproduction Indentification

Gentleman,

Hello It's been quite some time since I logged in. I just purchased a (mint) Winchester Parker Reproduction A-1 Special, 12 gauge two barrel set 26" IC & MOD, 28" Mod & full, with leather bound oak case and cover. I have the Parker identification and serialization book and the two Parker History books.

I can't seem to locate by serial number when this gun was manufactured. It does however have "Made in Japan" engraving.

Serial number for this gun is 112-044. Does anyone have any info on these guns?

Much appreciated,

Ed

Hi neighbor!

That low number 044 should make it among the earliest. Possibly around 1989 - 90 I would guess. Somebody here probably has a more accurate date.

Good to see you on here again Ed.

I went to school in Reading and lived at 836 Main St. until I got married in '70.

Oops..... I'm showing my age, I graduated in '66. We had just a few years earlier stopped using the leather football helmets and gone to the newfangled plastic ones. Go Rockets indeed!
