Default Rare bird

Found this old Parker here in Denmark, it¨s in nice mechanical condition, tight and straight. Has been re-blued, but the work is done ok.
Best regards
Bjørn

Nice gun. I have 183099 it's a 16 gauge O frame gun with 28" barrels. What gauge is your Parker?

It's a 12/? - I haven't been able to find any caliber/gauge marking on the actual gun - a lot of the older european shotguns used the 12/65 mm shells, but all the US made guns I have seen, chambers the 12-3/4 ore 70 mm shell, so I guess that was also the case lenght Parker used?

Nice old VH. A Parker in that serial number range would usually have a chamber bored to 2 5/8" and were meant to fire 2 3/4" shells up to 1 1/4 ounces of shot. Lighter loads will be kinder to the gun.
