thanks again for excellent info bruce,your the best! i use mostly target loads in the old guns but when we go to lapeer to shoot paul harms pigon ring i alway have moved up to a 3 dram loads,they make a big differnce on the long shots.

Bruce, excellent post. Because I only shoot clays my loads are 3/4 to 7/8oz at 1250fps in the 12ga. The pressure is in the 6000psi range - easy on the gun, shoulder, and wallet.

And they crush targets and are very effective on most gamebirds at reasonable ranges.
