Thanks Mark and Bill.
Mark are you using a Garmin DC-30 or 40 on Emma?
I'm strongly considering the purchase of one. Nothing worse than running around a swamp in the middle of the night looking for a dog.

Well, Otto and I finally got out on some birds, it's been one thing after another this fall, he's gotten into two Porcupines one at the hunt area we where about to hunt but the picture shows it didn't slow him down any after the three of us held him down and plucked them out. He's looking at my DH like how could a fine looking gun like that miss so much? I hope my shooting comes around so he doesn't disown me. He made his first duck retrieve without any encouragement so I couldn't be happier.

Bob -

Otto is a very handsome young dog. Good for you! That is a great photo to remember his first hunt with. Congradulations on a fine start. I hope you have many more together.
