Default Question about a Parker

Has any one seen one like this it was manufactured in 1883. I noticed it didn’t have the obvious hinge pen and the Metal work on the receiver goes back on the stock a little further than normal2A8A8D60-A6B4-4E2F-86A4-7A4FE90DABF0.jpgo

I fear this may be a Belgian shotgun with the Parker name, but not the pedigree.

Without better pictures, I'm guessing it was manufactured sometime in the late 1800s, by the JABC Gun Company.

It is some "trade branded" gun from the Crescent Fire Arms Co. factory in Norwich, Conn. from the 1900 to 1915 time frame.

That is a crescent. "Hardware Store" gun.

That one has been buffed out.

It is maybe worth a couple hundred.
