Default How rare is this really?

I was cruising the web ,mostly out of boredom and came across a 20ga PHE straight stock, double triggers, BTF with 28 inch barrels. The serial number dates it to the mid 20's. It's on Steve Barnett's sight. Nice gun but IMHO pretty pricey and the case color doesn't look quite right to me.

I had pics sent to me some time back. I don't think that gun left the factory with a beavertail. Of course that's my opinion.

The tiger striped case colors looks like either a Remington redo, or a DelGrego resto. The lack of the mullered border may indicate Remington? I have a DelGrego restored gun and it does have the proper borders at least..

Scott did the gun have a CA owner? I was told this gun was sold to a CA owner by another dealer and then made its way back to Steve B.
