Charlie at 10
Charlie has become a magnipheasant bird dog. It is such a pleasure to watch her work find flush and retrieve. This pic is of my 76 year old hunting partner of many decades. He had a tough season. Missed 8 weeks due to Achilles’ tendon injury. He hobbled around yesterday and mostly blocked. He hadn’t shot a bird yet this year. Charlie brought a rooster right to him. He dropped it DOA. It landed in some heavy cover. Charlie found her way in and brought out the bird. Unfortunately it fell to an 870 but will taste as good as a Parkerized fez It was a good day
