Dave, I believe mine was manufactured around 1926-28. I do have a copy of the factory order form for the gun at home. A good friend of mine knew Walt Snyder and was able to get it for me. The gun was ordered into a hardware store in Waynesburg, Pa, about 45 min. from me, just above Morgantown, Wv. It has 28" M/F chokes w/ twin ivory beads.

Nice guns guys. I too like Ithaca's. I own three. A 1969 NIB Model 37 20 gauge choked IC field gun that my father-in-law purchased new and fired less than a box of shells through, a 1912 Flues 16 gauge that was my Dads bird gun. 26" factory IC/F barrels that weighs 5 Lbs 9 Oz. He purchased it in the early 1930's from a widow he knew at work for the tidy sum of $25, which was a lot of money for him back then. And a 1940 NID Grade ll factory two barrel set. One set of 30" F/F and the other 26" marked skeet/skeet. Twin ivory beads, ejectors, single selective trigger using the safety and a beavertail for end.

Stephen, as I recall, you also have an immaculate little Lefever A grade 20, which of course is really an Ithaca--I believe you posted about it a few months ago.
Ithaca guns used really nice wood and had nice engraving. Wish I hadnt sold a little 1 1/2 grade 20 ga that I owned back in the '80's.
