What is the proper method for removing this front bead?

That is a bradley type bead. It just screws in. Should be a 3-52 thread.

Yeah. Likely. Was just going off the top of my head. Whatever the most common size is for modern beads.
Vs factory beads are a no. 2 size.

There’s a 2-56 and a 3-56, as well as a 3-48. My eyes aren’t what they used to be and even with my magnifying goggles on it’s hard to tell them apart.
