I posted my first post here in the new members section:

http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=28911

Long story short, drove the gun up to Dan May in Oswego where he confirmed a weak spring, and a full fix has been done (paid for by the dealer) and now I have a 28g repro shooting fine and in fantastic condition. Miller Single Trigger/Classic Gunstocks (aka Dan May) is a fine resource (and genuinely nice guy) I wouldn't have known about without this forum. Many thanks folks for steering me to someone who could sort it out.

He is a single man operation now and is moving all his business to his home.

Welcome to the Parker Collectors. The 28 gauge reproductions is a great gun. I own one and would love to see pictures of yours. I love to look at the different pieces of wood they used on these guns. You never see a bad one.

Thank you Matt. I'll post photos as soon as I'm able to, I'm traveling a bit now for over a week. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these guns in person and handling a 12 on a smaller frame. I hate that I have expensive taste but appreciate that I do : )

Confusion prevails. Ken Waite's name and picture are still on the Miller Single Trigger Company website.

I met Dan twice and am not about to make assumptions about his business dealings, I am happy he served me well. He told me they amicably split and he's up to his eyeballs in trigger work right now and has moved his milling and other equipment into his home, which is where we did business. Never met nor knew Ken Waite. Not beyond the realm of possibility the website isn't updated?

Yes. The building in oswego was sold. Ken is not involved in the business anymore and Dan has downsized things and moved the operation to his home. Focusing mainly on the trigger work.
