I was hoping they had some 8’s of Unique ! Do they have a cutoff number on powder ? Two 8 pounders would be just fine IF they had any

Nope one 8 per month ! They however need to update their webpage , they’re showing SR4756 and SR7625 . That’s stuffs been out of production as far as Hodgdon concerned for five years I think .

I used to go to Ron Shirks and pickup for a dealer in central Virginia. Part of the deal was I could get what I wanted at cost . So before the SR powders were discontinued I would bring back 200-400 pounds of various powders . Well about the time I found out they were stopping 7625 Shirk had been stepped on by the transportation people when they checked sales receipts and after that they only allowed me 100 pounds . So I bought an 8 for two trips after that they were out . At the time I used it for everything from the 10 to the 20 . I’ve got about 16 pounds now that oughtta keep my 1 1/4 ounce 10 gauge stuff going for several years .
