Couldn't find your email so I will post a couple of pic's here. Some of the other members might enjoy these. Just finnished building this yesterday. It is a smokeless muzzleloader. It will shoot a 45cal 275gr bullet at 3000 fps. Here is the pics.

It looks like a Remington Bolt but the nut looks like a Savage front end. What is it? Details please. I shoot the Savage 10 MLII (smokless), and would not trade it for the world, well maybe for one of these.

Sorry I missed your request back in November.

Savage Smokeless Load:

40 grains 4759
.45 cal. (.452) 250 grain HP/XTP
Muzzleload Magnum Products (MMP) .50 black sabot (the only one Savage recommended)
WW 209 primer

This will blow a hole in a deer at close range.

It probably kill anything on the planet. Jerry it's a hybrid . So you are correct on both counts.

45 cal bullet is bore diameter. No sabot.
