Default Hunting with Hammer Gun

Great Fall Sunday hunting pheasant with new to me 12 ga D grade hammer gun. Thanks to Greg, a Parker member, for this new addition to the family. First shot with the gun since transfer last week and it hit the mark. Also doubled on a pair of chukkar with trusty VHE 20.
Old Reliable for certain.

Hi Corey! Nice pictures, nice Parkers and a very nice looking pup!

That "DH" isn't really a DH though, as the "H" denotes a hammerless gun. But it is a fine looking D hammer gun. Congratulations!

By the way, the pup’s not mine. Wish he was. Met Al today. He’s got quite a few years on him; still a great flusher and a really nice dog.

Great photos. Thanks for posting.

Ya gotta love those fences on that 3 grade!
