Top lever release

I normally store my Parkers in my gunsafe in an upright position, fully assembled. But if I want to store one broken down how do I release the top lever back to center? I know there's supposed to be a way to do it but I don't know how.

Use something soft, I use a pencil top eraser, and push the lever over with you finger as if you are opening the gun and push down on the latch at the back section of the slot in the frame. That releases the lever to come back to the center.

Looking down at the water table, look in the slot the barrel lug goes into and you will see a small square looking metal latch there. Push it down and let the lever come back to center. When the barrels close they would push that down doing the same thing the pencil will do.
