Will Dave Noreen know? He is the king of recoil pad research.

c. 1920s pads included the Silvers, Funkes, the American Silver pad (sometimes called Grieb) and the Jostam Anti-Flinch, Hy-Gun and the Huntley Sponge Rubber Pad (which Jostam acquired after WW I).
The Hawkins Model 25 Recoil Pad by the Cushion Pad Co. was first offered about 1920. The NOSHOC pads have a June 6, 1922 patent date, but were not found in catalogs until the early 1930s. http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/22972603 I am not aware of any pad called the 'Premium' or 'Premier', but have seen a number of Fox SBTs with original leather faced Jostam pads.
