Default Target practice

My son Harry really enjoys rifles and the two of us enjoy shooting them together.

Here is his target. 100 yards with a 22 rifle. First time shooting 100 yards

I can't even see a hundred yards! Great shooting! That bear is dead.

I want a Tommy Gun too. It will cost more than a good Parker. How can we get into one of those small southern sheriff's offices, Mills?

Mills when I was about 15 years old a buddy of mine in high school invited me to go to a FBI shooting range in San Francisco California, his father was a FBI agent. We got to shoot .38 revolvers a sniper rifle and then they brought out a Thompson sub machine gun in its case and a drum magazine they let us shoot ten rounds each. It was a very special experience that I will remember forever.

Last year I went to a business-sponsored 'machine gun shoot' in Denver... at an indoor range, if you can believe that. You could shoot whatever you wanted as much as you wanted; all the ammo was provided. I got to shoot some pistols and two full-autos, a 9mm sub-machine gun and a 5.56mm SAW. Both were big fun, but the noise level indoor seriously challenged any amount of hearing protection you could stack in, on and around your ears. I wouldn't do it again. My conclusion from the experience: I want a SAW for the coming zombie apocolypse!!
