How many guns in a casket
Alfred,
Get rugged pallbearers, no limit. Better yet build your casket now to your specs with beefy reinforcement and compartments for guns. This will save your family the anxiety of having to dispose of your guns. Erick |

Eldon, congratulations on finding a set of barrels for your big ten. When I added a BH ten with 18" barrels to my collection, I went on a similar search. I bought more than one low condition EH gun to try to get a set of barrels for the BH, which was a Worlds Fair gun and well worth the search. I did find an EH with barrels that fit on the gun without making them unsuitable for the original EH. As an afterthought, I dragged out a set of #3 frame Titanic ten gauge barrels that I had owned for several years. They fit the B Grade like they were made for it. "The luck of the Irish". Now the B Grade is patiently waiting for a trip to the stockmaker. Unfortunately, it is fitted with a stock made by a corner gunsmith.

Those old Parker guns have some really nice old style engraving and just look at the checkering and wood on that EH and that is one bad looking dog on that butt plate. I have gone back to original condition pieces, the character and scars from days afield will stay as they are. As they say, these old guns harbor old men's souls, we are priviledged to be the caretakers for the next generation.
