Default NH and EH

I thought I would post some pictures of my newly acquired NH 32". The NH came to me when I was looking for a set of barrels for my EH which had the barrels destroyed. A member of the forum kindly offered to sell me the NH while looking for the barrels of the EH. I ,being a lover of big bores, and grade 1 guns could not oppose. Then providence occurred, while looking through the ebay pages a set of 10 gauge Damascus barrels came up for sale with 30'' barrels. Exactly like the ones that were destroyed on my EH. Even more amazing on the same exact day a set of Lefever DS 20 gauge barrels were also listed on ebay. I have been looking for 3 years for those barrels for a friend, but that is another story. I digress, I really love the NH and EH guns and if I had not already exceeded my gun budget this year by 4 times, sadly I did not even manage to make it through January Thanks to the Las Vegas Antique arms show, I would have already sent the EH off to be restored. If you have an EH or NH please post photos.

As you can see the barrels will need some fitting on the EH.

The only hammerless 10 gauge Parker I own is this circa 1889 EH , I've owned it since February or March of this year .

Gun's a #2 frame with 30" barrels .

I want another EH with 32" barrels now . I would prefer it on a #3 frame but a #2 would be fine as well .

I love the early GH engraving too. Brian Dudley just restocked my early GH 12 gauge and it looks great.

I assume they're uncut the box is at the end and the seriel number book says 30" .

To be honest I've forgotten what it weighed but seems to me it was in the 9 poundish area .

I have a 12 gauge GH with a skeleton buttplate that was made in 1891 and it has the circular GH engraving . I also have a 16 gauge GH in the safe but I cannot remember whether it's the early style or the later stuff .

The Virginia Vintagers are having a Sporting Clays shoot at the Flying Rabbit in Harrisonburg VA this Saturday . I am debating whether to take this gun or my little AH Fox A Grade 16 gauge . The 10's a good bit heavier as well as 100 rounds of ammo , also the 16 gauge stuff is already loaded and I do not have any 10 gauge stuff loaded
