Default Kirk Merrington ?

Someone may have already posted but I can't find Kirk Merrington's info. I had posted back a few months ago about my gun having bulged barrels. I had sent it to Bachelder and was told it may not be fixable. Several members told me to get a second opinion and send them to Kirk Merrington in texas. I see his ad in the newest Parker pages but when I call I get a disconnected message and the email address is not good either. What's up? did he go out of business?

Thanks

Kirk really needs to do a little house cleaning and pull down his one out of date web site plus change his contact # in the Parker Pages ad.

He currently has two web sites when you do a web search for him & only one of them has his correct contact information. The 830-367-1325 is the correct number for him.

Kirk is a friend of of mine, and I was just with him last week picking up and dropping off guns. He will be the first to admit that "housekeeping" is a tremendous challenge for him.

If anyone can fix your barrels, Kirk can.

Kirks contact info seems to come up as a topic every few months for the last few years on various forums. I don't know what is going on with that.
Or... maybe he is doing something right...

I spoke to Kirk briefly. He states from my description that my barrels were toast. I'll either find a donor set of barrels, find some Briley drop ins, or just cut my losses and sell the gun.

I was just looking back at the past posts on your gun.
Does the gun not have a rib extension on it?

No rib extension but has front sight blades on both barrels. No one had seen those before.
