I found this forum today and decided to join. I own the 1907 Parker Bros. 12 gauge DHE that my Grandfather first acquired in 1914. He lived in Outer Banks of North Carolina. It originally came with 26" improved and modified barrels. Later, in the 1920's my Grandfather had a second set of barrels made by Parker, 28 inch modified and full. He used the shorter barrels for upland game but primarily used the long barrels on duck and geese on Currituck Sound, near the family farm. I've owned the gun since 1993 and hunted pheasant, quail, ducks and geese with it in California
