Ha! Maybe for the pheasant tower shoot one of our friends puts on. I don't think quail would "drive" very well.

They look similar and are pretty close in serial number range, but are different. The better of the two appears all original parts restored. 28" barrels IM/IM. About 6.8 lbs. The other has a smaller stock that appears to be from a later 0 frame gun. Barrels are cut to 26" so no choke basically. The fore end checkering on the 26" one looks like it was done by a drunk beaver. Of the two though, the 26" handles better, and is about 6.3 lbs. It should be great on Woodcock

I love my little GH 16 O frame damascus, even with its 27" (cut) barrells
