That is one of my favorite jump shooting ditches. They trapped out the beavers last winter, so no beaver dam this year.

I gave up on the dove patch several years ago. It keep drowning out.
I have been dove hunting over a neighbors cut seed corn fields.

You couldn't get mallards to light in a ditch that size down here if you had it lined with shelled corn.
