Default Box bird and drive birds at Cibolo Creek Ranch

I just got back from shooting at a ranch south of Marfa,TX.I used a 20 gauge DHE for the box shoot and a 28 gauge for the driven pheasant The 28 was great on the 2 drives.24" barrels, full and full. The box birds were tough with a strong wind and the birds not wanting to fly.The 2 Parkers were quite the conversation piece among the O/U guys and gals.

Nothing like a good live pigeon shoot, only about a once a year thing for me but always a memorable day.

The 28 was great. It was even better that the shooter at the next peg was using a O/U 12 gauge and could not keep up.
