Default Nickel Plating

Anyone letter a gun that was said to have the action forend metal nickel plated ?

I’m not suggesting anything was factory work, but I have seen several Parkers that were plated. I have tried to forget them because it’s like an accident you can’t delete from your memory.
One was a DH 1 frame, 12ga 32” straight grip. Oh it was all there right to the plated skeleton. Only the barrels were untouched with only traces of blue. Wish I could forget seeing it.
