That gun was 'well-loved' and I'll stick my neck out to say I think it will be well-loved once again!!

Well, I started my Parker collection this year and I must say that I am hooked.

My 1st was an NH 10 gauge from 1890 with 32" twist barrels.

My 2nd was a DH 12 gauge from 1895 with factory 32" Vulcan barrels.

My 3rd was a VH 12 gauge from 1905 with 28" cut barrels.

My Parker acquisition this year was a VH, 16Ga, frame #1, 30" barrels, all original to the Parker letter I received. Barrels had little blueing at spots, and a couple of dents, the plastic butt-plate was broken and missing a piece. I sent the gun to Brad Bachelder for a clean & strip, dent removal and barrel re-blueing, butt-plate replacement with an original - period correct (with widow's peak), and refreshment of the checkering. The color case is all original. I am very happy with the results. BillK

How soon we forget. One other Parker acquisition is a wonderful little Del Grego redone VH .410 restocked in nice fancy wood, beavertail forend hard butt. It looks like an early one judging by the colors. I believe it may be one done for our friend Shelly G. and was displayed at the first PGCA meeting in Nashville, many years ago. At that show, it was offered for a very negotiable $6995. I own Shelly's SAA trap gun and I just couldn't resist another gun owned by my old friend. I hope my inquiry to Babe DelGrego will prove me right.
