Default Dent repair

I'm working on some 10 gauge lifter barrels, plain twist. There are some dents .015" and .004" deep and about .50" and.25" long and both .50" wide[They do protrude into the bore].Recently there was a thread on raising dents using pin gauges .I have tried every search I can think of but am unable to find it.Does anyone know the title of the thread?Thank you .

I don't remember the thread but I'm sure Richard Flanders is the one who posted about it. Maybe he'll see this or you can PM him

I had Briley remove some dents from a Parker barrel and was very pleased with service, turnaround and results. You can't tell the dents were ever there

I was thinking of getting a set of pins and working on removing dents that way, but I bought a hosford set of tools instead. I figured it was the best bang for the buck. They work very well.

I just bought my pin gages off e bay. For the 10ga buy the set that runs from .751 to .832. You may find sets that have one or two gages missing (witch dosnt make a lot of difference) at a substancial saveings. I bought two sets and can do all the way to 8ga for about $125.00.
