That would make it simpler but we each receive a membership roster with every fall issue of Parker Pages with most member's addresses, some even with email addresses and a few with telephone numbers.

PGCA members addresses are listed in the directory which is sent out yearly with Parker Pages. Why isn’t that sufficient?

Oops. I see Dean and I were responding at the same time and in the same manner.

Ha! We were both thinking the same thing and typing at the same time.

On numerous occasions I have looked up members on the list and not found them. In a few instances that I can recall I know the individuals had been posting for more than a year so they are not newbies.

This whole thing is not a big deal. If some individuals wish to keep their location private, so be it. I just like to see where people are located what kind of country they hunt in and what for. And, as Harold suggested to put a face with names.

Okay, how do we start an alphabetically searchable member profile page?
It certainly should only be in the Members Only section of the forum.

I'll sign on with pics and information if it can be set up the way I suggested.

Could there not be a new section on the Members Only side of the forum titled “Who Are We” or similar, where members could write a small bio of themselves with interesting tidbits and photos to their own past and present selves and their interests?

This has morphed into a little more than I had intentioned when I made my original post. Dean, you do enough already, and dont think we need to add any more to your plate. I really didnt mean phone, address, SS#, gun safe combination, and hunting spot GPS coordinates--although you could send them in a pm if you like. Was just trying to become more familiar with those posting frequently on this forum.

Don’t forget about this created by RobinLewis. The Geo link is a great tool to find members if you have the roster.

If you open up the Member map link that Robin created for us and zoom in to northeast Massachusetts, one of the member dots you can click on is 1204 in Andover Ma.
1204 is me and I just started a post titled "Testing 1204"
Open that thread and you will see that I identified myself there and I can add pictures and various personal preferences, hunting and shooting places I frequent, actually just about anything about myself I care to make public.

Anyone can do this. All they need to do is use your member number in the title of the thread with a blank space (space bar) on either side of their member number.
