Default 2 + 4 = 48.......

2 guys + 4 guns = 48 birds. I was reading Mills posting on a " warm up " and decided to do another one myself this weekend. Rained out yesterday morning, so Dale and I headed out early this morning. I shot my Lancaster and Francotte, both 12s. Dale shot a Thomas Bland 20 and his Parker GH 16. Although we lost a few and missed some easy shots, it's was a great "warm up "! Still looking for the perfect gun to start the season with. Anyone pick out their Opening Day "shooter" yet?

Right on Phil! Dale is shooting his Webly Scott 28, I'm shooting my early Flues 1 1/2 grade 28. I'd better start loading now!

I will be taking my Dickinson .410 S X S w/ 30" barrels. I always use .410s, for doves, in the early season. As the shots get longer and the doves get tougher and warier I gradually increase the gauge, through the end of January. Nothing magic about that, just my way of enjoying them all.
