Engine turning on BT forearm metal..?

Does anyone have a Parker Reproduction w/ a BT forearm? If so, is there engine turning on the inside of the metal, like mine is? [It goes 1/2 up and is very finely done.]

I was surprised to see it when I first purchased it. (This 28 gauge also has a 2 between the 1 and the F, on the lugs below the barrels.)

I just wondered if this was normal regarding the engine turning..?
