Since California banned lead ammo, the price of old firearms has plummeted in Northern Nevada. Fire sale prices on any shotgun that doesn't shoot steel or any rifle that doesn't shoot copper bullets in 30, 270 or 243 caliber. Shotguns have faired the worst followed by pre-64 Winchesters (94s & 70s).

Does it have a widows peak or was the stock cut ? Nice find !!! Id rather look at that than 5 one hundred dollar bills !!!!

Looks like it had a rubber recoil pad. Do you think a factory letter would give more information on it?
