nice heirloom jerry...i m like you these old family guns have a lot of value to me... maybe not in money...but tons of memories...i would value the gun at 1000 dollars....charlie

Trempe jaspee refers to hardening or quenching of a precious manner. I feel it is referring to a case hardening finish. I am not fluent so take as you wish.
