Default Deadline looming for Parker Pages Winter Issue

This is a reminder that October 15 is the deadline for submitting material for the Winter issue. I can accept contributions up through the 17th but after that I will have conflicting schedules and important appointments well to the North.

We are far from a full issue at this point and I am hoping for some thought provoking and entertaining articles. 'Continuing Education' in all things Parker is what we strive for in the Parker Pages and we hope you are putting the finishing touches on your stories and technical articles.

Please email your contribution to me in Microsoft Word and either mail your pictures to me on a CD or flash drive to 78 River Street, Andover, MA 01810 or email them full-size to me at dsromig@aol.com Please send no more than 4 pictures per email as more pics sometimes causes the software to compress the pictures and they will not be fit for publication.

If I can be of any assistance in helping you to prepare your contribution please contact me as soon as possible and I will do everything I can to assist you.

Best, Dean

I am working on one and hope to have it in in time.

One suggestion: bring back and update the doubles roster and encourage members to send photos of their recent doubles.

Thanks Mills!

We will update the Doubles roster and will publish it after the majority of hunting seasons are over. It will likely only be published once per year unless there are convincing arguments as to why it should be published more often.

Opinions?......

That sounds like a good idea to me. If people send in pictures of their doubles, those might make good material for all 4 issues. Just a suggestion

As a reminder to those who are intending to get their contributions to me for this issue... Today is the deadline for submissions but I can push it back a few days because I do not have enough material for a full issue.

I can't stress strongly enough how important it is to have PGCA Members contribute material for Parker Pages. There is a great deal of Parker knowledge and lifetimes of experience out there among our membership and it should be shared so that others can learn and benefit from those who have "been there and done that".

Please send your contributions to me at dsromig@aol.com or to discuss your ideas for future articles and stories.

Best, Dean

TTT

"Crunch Time" is upon us. I am now compiling the Winter Issue and hoping to get one or two more contributions to fill this issue. If you're still working on yours, please get it to me before Friday night.

Thanks to all who have contributed so far -
Dean
