Default The definition of having too much fun

I tell you this is it. I shoot clays up here, hike, collect butterflies and beetles for the university and just hang out and read in the sun. THIS is my favorite playground in the area. What a glorious 80deg day it was up there today. I've been going up here occasionally all summer, but this was the best day for weather up there yet and the first time I've bothered taking pictures. Our first frost is approximately 3 weeks away or less, so a guy has gotta gitterdone while it's nice. The third picture is looking back towards Fairbanks 67 miles away. The last two show some of the country I fly over on the way home. God bless Mr. Piper is all I can say.

I like the perspective we get in picture #2. Your plane is really only visible if the picture is double or triple clicked.

Absolutely beautiful. Richard you do things and go places most of us have only dreamed of. I always look forward to your posts.

Richard do you hire out or just for your enjoyment?
Thinking of going back to Alaska again.Might as well keep the business in the family if I do.
Never can get enough of Alaska. There's always something else around the bend or over the next mountain.

I'm not a commercial pilot so don't hire out. I just do this for fun. It's far better than walking up and down our road and eating road dust like my neighbors do.
