Will you be hunting both of them in SD this year?

We will try and leave a few for seed for you guys. Right now there are ducks and with 7 labs that will be a sight to see. Wish your damn duck season didn't open so soon as I'd love to be there with your crew.

The weather finally changed and the birds started to move, Nellie had a red letter day in a skim ice cover marsh in northern NY. Pretty proud of my little girl.

Craig should indeed be proud. Beaming proud!

I have been on my share of hunts and behind many many dogs but this dog is "the one"! This dog is possessed when she hunts. I have never seen drive and strength and handling all wrapped up into one dog like this.... and she is only 2 years+ old.

The two dots represent locations of crippled geese that she broke ice then chased down 15 and 25 yards into the frozen rice and dragged back to all of our amazement!

Much more to come from Nellie for sure!

Nellie had another big day in central NY. Hunted with buddies and she made 23 retrieves, lost two cripples. As you can tell from her look in the picture she was pooped. The water temps are just above freezing. She made some nice retrieves that without a dog we would have never found the birds. As they say the best conservation tool is a Lab!!
