Default White Christmas

Just enough snow fell early in the day, so we could say we had a White Christmas. More coming.

I am hearing Erie, PA got pounded, talk of largest 2 day total. West of there in Conneaut, OH where our fishing camp is the neighbors say about 16" with 8" more today.

We drove to our daughters' homes in Derry NH Christmas morning through whiteout conditions in spots on rte 93 through what some folks would call "white knuckle" driving. There were periods during which we received more than 3 inches per hour.
I didn't think it was so bad.... when I could see the road

It was nice to have a decent amount of snow for christmas here inthe Rochester, NY area. It has not been the case in the last several years. We got about 8” over saturday and sunday. No snow fell on christmas day. Since then it has just been plain cold. I guess Erie, PA got almost 5 feet on christmas day!
