Good show, no beef jerky or black guns. Wish I could make it, but still up north

It's not your responsibility Robin. You're a nice guy but people will come to expect you to post all of their event notices.

I agree but it is easy to do and I think it helps to promote shooting.

I must admit that it's not best for me to do it because if I was in the know, I would add a lot of information that is missing in most posts. In this case I have no idea what the shoot is or where it's located.

Many times, not only isn't it placed in the calendar but it's missing time, place and contact information. Many posters forget that their audience isn't familiar with their event(s) and need more information like: where it is (an address helps); when it is scheduled (times and well as dates); contact information (phone contact or email address); web link if one exists; special rules of the shoot(think about our challenge shoot); .... anything to add interest that may help get new, first time attendees to attend.

But, a reminder in our calendar is a good place to start and then google up information on something such as this show.

You shouldn't be, anything that you can do to make our shotgunning community bigger and stronger is a good thing. Telling us about an event that we may not know about is always a plus. Keep it up, please!

Yes, please continue to post upcoming events.

We're only having an open discussion here - no cause to back away.
