Congrats Phil, a very worthy Setter for certain. Also thank you to Mr. Higgins for making this happen. A very generous gesture indeed and a story I am looking forward to reading in the PP. Thanks again and have a great hunt.

Congratulations Phil!

I’m really glad your gun won and I know you’re going to love those Northeast Kingdom covers... you have brush pants, long sleeves and pigskin gloves, right?

Thanks Legh for providing this great thread that was a lot of fun, allowed so many of us to show off our Parkers and gave us all a real treat to see the great engraving on so many nice guns.

Dean I have read how tuff some of the cover is and will be doing some more research. The pants and boots I have covered. Everything sticks and pokes in Arizona. Long sleeve shirts... what’s that ? LOL.

I may have told this before so forgive me in advance for repeating myself.

A while back when I showed up at work after a few days chasing grouse in Vermont’s NEK with my arms about shredded from briars, thornapple, hawthorn and such and the guys asked “What the blank happened to you?” I told them we have this game at grouse camp to see who can hold the cat underwater in the rain barrel the longest. I told them “The cat always seems to win.”

But that’s why the long sleeves.
