Default 8ga Grade 1 Laminate at small auction

I have no interest in this gun but thought someone here may.

No mention of barrel steel on rib. Also, I looked up the auction and they had good looking 8 ga 3-1/4" Ballard brass cases for sale.

Just wondering if you did have an interest in this gun would you have still posted this link? Yes, I know we all try to be helpful but sometimes it invites more competition then normal, or should I say unwanted competition . AND ! Hows it go " Nothing personal pal" and I mean that.

Steve just trying to be helpful pal, that's my nature. If I had a personal interest in the gun of course I would not post a link, but if someone else did so be it no big deal.

The L stamped on the right barrel flat tells us it's Laminated Steel but too late to be Parker-made Laminated.

I just was surprised there was no designation on the top rib. Was that normal with the 8 gauge?

i’m not. I’ve seen a LOT of Lifters and early TA hammer guns with no barrel steel on the top rib.

I spoke with the owner of the gun. Shells are probably going with the gun in auction. 36" barrels. He is not a gun guy and does not know the chokes. I am getting more pictures if anyone wants to see them. It has been in the same family since new until he bought it 5-6yrs ago. He spoke with RI and they gave him a price range of 7-10k so that is where he is wanting to start at with it.
