The area between Nogales and Tucson has changed quit a bit in the last 20 years or so. Bill still a lot of open country but you might not recognize it now. I run my dogs at about 4800 feet. We occasionally see a snake but not too often. September is actually the worst month in my opinion. Generally do not hunt my dogs in the lower areas until late November.
Chris December will be here before you know it. You may need to stop in the Midwest and climatize for a few days so our nice weather doesn't send you into shock. LOL

I used a pocket full of rocks ,before I got my Daisy ...I'm ashamed to say it ,but I use to ground sluice em back then .
