What do you think the little pin in front of the hinge pin is for? Anyone seen one before??

Chris, If memory serves me. I think that is a sign of an aftermarket ejector system. Can't remember whose it was though.

I think we have seen this pin before. It is part of an early aftermarket conversion to automatic ejectors. More than one of our members will come forward with more information including the name of the converter. It looks like this gun has been reconverted to extractors, according to the seller's description. Could this be Destry's old chokeless duck gun? He could tell us, but he is out hunting right now.

Thanks Bill, that was my thought. Did you find out who the trap shooter is in the photo you just bought? I'm sure I have seen him in a recent issue of PP or DGJ.

I've also seen aftermarket ejector systems with screws there instead of pins and I don't know if they are of the same manufacture or another similar design.
