Default ejectors on my Parker 12 g

I inherited a Parker 12g double barrel from my grandfather. I am unable to snap the forend to the barrel and receiver. The triggers won't function and the ejector on one side won't reset. A local gunsmith thinks one of the sears is damaged. He admittedly is not a Parker gunsmith. Does anyone know a gunsmith in Arizona or New Mexico that could do the repairs.
Thanks
Bill S

Welcome Bill! Your best bet is to send your gun to a gunsmith who specializes in Parkers. There are several but Brad Bachelder's shop is the first to come to mind.

Bill, use a piece of soft wood or the edge of a wood table to carefully push the ejector hammer at the top of the forend back into place until it hopefully clicks. If it clicks into place, the ejector sear is not broken, but possibly filled with dirt or rust. Hold the forend very tight while you are doing this. Now install the forend and the triggers may work. Don't take it apart again. Let us know if you are successful.

Thanks for the info The sear is broken so I have sent the gun to a Parker gunsmith. I will post the results when it comes back.
Anybody know a good source for a leg-o-mutton gun cases? All that I see are under 32inches and I have two barrels, one of which is a 32inch

If you become a member, good cases come up for sale all the time in the member's only section of the forum
