Bob, I believe you will find the Lefever a joy to shoot. Be sure to have it looked over by a good smith and for sure get the barrel wall thickness checked. Lefevers generally had thicker barrel wall thickness than some of the other well known makers, but any 110+ year old gun could have been "cleaned" up bit at some point. Have you measured the chokes yet?

I did not get it yet wanted to look into them a little more.The barrels look fine and are thicker than most as is the weight of the gun.I am meeting with the seller first of the week to make a deal.
