I've never seen one like this so I'd have to say it is after market but well done. I have to ask Brian how he knows the gun is broken at the wrist? I've looked carefully at the supplied pictures and can't see anything that would suggest there is a break.

Because, the party who repaired it had before and after photos posted on one of their sites.
It was broken clean in half at the rear of the tang. It is a very good repair. A little disturbing that the seller does not disclose it.
