Allan , How about shipping me one of them boxes just to look at mind you, but you could put a 250.00 dollar grade lifter in it just to see how it fits? gary

How do you make them for $9 when you have $18 worth in screws?
I make mine just the same, but use a few dozen less screws securing bottom and top. I use torx head cabinet screws so the heads don't pull through the plywood.

At least mine aren't Torx or Phillips head screws.

I use finish screws so they sink below the wood's surface. That way when the box is laid on a piece of furniture by the recipient the screws won't mar the furniture.

You make a great box . I wish you would use all with the same head though and include a bit for them.. Am I complaining about a great, FREE, box?
